I practice on the unceded lands of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Lekwungen (Chekonein, Chilcowitch, Esquimalt, Kakyaakan, Kosampsom, Swengwhung, Songhees, Teechamitsa and Whyomilth) and the WSÁNEĆ (BOḰEĆEN/Pauquachin, SȾÁUTW/Tsawout, W̱JOȽEȽP/Tsartlip, and WSIḴEM/Tseycum) Nations. The term unceded acknowledges the dispossession of the land which was not given up through a treaty or other agreement. I recognize my privilege as a white settler and visitor on this land.
